Physical Health: Nutrition, Exercise, and Rest
Physical health is the first thing that comes to mind in discussions on children’s wellness. Of course, proper nutrition plays a significant role here.
A balanced diet jam-packed with fruits, vegetables,
proteins, and whole grains helps fuel the human body and mind. Additionally,
regular physical activity is crucial for the development of children’s growing
bones, muscles, and cardiovascular health. And let’s not forget sleep—as much
as they typically fight it, adequate rest is essential for children’s growth,
cognitive function, and emotional well-being. Sleep must be prioritized and,
ideally, modelled by the family.
